UNION - Shirley J. Mann of Union died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South. The former New Haven Elementary School teacher was 57.
She was a church elder at Union Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Mann; a daughter, Sarah of Union; three sons, Scott of Burlington; Mike of Florence; and Brian of Lexington, Ky.; and a sister, Nancy Mitchell of Kingsley, Mich.
Visitation is 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Union Presbyterian Church. Service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, also at Union Presbyterian Church. A special memorial service will take place at the New Haven Elementary School at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

FLORENCE - Ann Slayback of Florence died Thursday at Woodspoint Health Care Center. The homemaker and Beaver Lick Baptist church member was 71.
Surviving are her husband, John; a daughter, Sheryl Maynard of Walton; two sons, J.W. of Union; and Thomas of Owenton; and a brother, William F. White of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Big Bone Baptist Cemetery.

DAYTON - Ruth A. Dalton of Dayton died Oct. 17 at Highland Heights Nursing Home. The homemaker was 72.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry of Melbourne and Ed of Dillsboro, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Barbara Foster of Las Vegas.
Services will be private. Cooper Funeral Home in Grants Lick is assisting the family.

FORT THOMAS - Lloyd L. Lyman of Fort Thomas died Friday at his home. The retired auto parts driver was 72.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Phyllis Mauntel of Erlanger; two sons, Terry of Cold Spring; and James of Fort Thomas.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Christ Church UCC in Fort Thomas. Entombment will be at the Evergreen Mausoleum.

FORT THOMAS - Fern S. Sadosky of Fort Thomas died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East. The retired Highlands High School secretary and teacher was 90.
Mrs. Sadosky was a member of Highland Methodist Church in Fort Thomas, Fort Thomas Women's Club, Young at Heart Seniors and Community Bible Study at the 1st Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of Cincinnati and Thomas of Atlanta.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dobbling Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Services follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

COLD SPRING - Carol A. Scott of Cold Spring died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was 40.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Sherman of Cold Spring; a sister, Barb West of Cold Spring, and a brother, Ronnie Scott of Alexandria.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Services follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

COVINGTON - Irma E. "Muz" Dressman, formerly of Covington, died Friday at Meadowwood Retirement Community in Bloomington, Ind. The retired Vieth's Grocery clerk and former member of St. Anthony's Church was 91.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow, both at St. Anthony Church in Taylor Mill.
