Twenty-one short works created by local filmmaking teams in August are now available on DVD.
The 48 Hour Film Project enlisted hundreds of professional and amateur artists and technicians in a race to write, shoot and edit the best 12-minute movie in town. All films had a line of dialogue, prop and character in common, from a random drawing.
Audiences at two public screenings voted three favorites. Judges chose winners in several best-of categories, including CIA Holes by Stupid Johnny, which will compete against other cities in a showdown at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas, in March.
The finished works are available on two DVDs for $15 each or $25 for both from Impact Video in Northside, 681-9191.
