Ohio State to play MSU at noon Nov. 8

Kickoff for the Michigan State at Ohio State game Nov. 8 will be noon and televised by ABC Sports.
It will be Ohio State's fifth appearance on ABC this season. The two teams have not played since the 2000 season, when the Buckeyes won 27-13 in Columbus.
OSU is 21-12 all-time against the Spartans and has won 11 of the 18 games played in Columbus.
The 7-1 Buckeyes play at Penn State at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Kickoff for Purdue-OSU in Columbus Nov. 15 has yet to be determined.
OSU tailback Lydell Ross was selected as the Big Ten's offensive player of the week after Saturday's 35-6 victory over Indiana.
Ross rushed for a career-high 167 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries against the Hoosiers.
The 6-foot, 210-pound junior rolled up 103 of those yards in the first quarter. Ross scored on runs of 11, 2 and 1 yards in helping the Buckeyes jump out to a 35-0 lead.
The Buckeyes totaled 221 yards rushing and 603 yards in total offense against the Hoosiers, both of which represent season highs. In addition to recording the third 100-yard game of his career, Ross also caught three passes for 33 yards. He is the fifth OSU player to win Big Ten player of the week this year.
KENTUCKY: UK's Derek Abney was named SEC special teams player of the week. He returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown against Mississippi State Saturday, the eighth time in his career he has scored on a kick or punt return, tying an NCAA record.
Abney accounted for 212 all-purpose yards, including four receptions for 80 yards and a TD and a 21-yard run. He leads the SEC and ranks second nationally with 165.9 all-purpose yards per game. Abney has broken or tied five NCAA, nine SEC and 12 school records.
GEORGIA: Cornerback Decory Bryant had neck surgery Sunday that will end his season and leaves his NFL future in doubt, the seventh starter or top backup lost to a season-ending injury for the fourth-ranked Bulldogs this season.
