Cooking by Design: The Northern Kentucky Convention Center hosts a new-to-Cincinnati food/consumer lifestyle event full of the latest cooking products, food demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances, wine tastings, seminars and more, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Rivercenter Boulevard, Covington. Highlights include Cajun cooking demonstrations from New Orleans star chef Aaron Labatt, appearances by the Food Network's Curtis Aiken and stage shows with the Alaska Fish Witches. $13, $5 age 9-15. 755-8950.

Planning Ahead

24 hours out: The Roberts Convention Centre off I-71 hosts the super-sized Wilmington Flea Market and Antique Show, full of dealers in collectibles, furniture, antiques, housewares, clothing and more, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, I-71 and Ohio 68, Wilmington. $1.25 admission.
