JACKSON TWP. - Two people were killed Thursday night in a head-on collision along Ohio 131 just east of Newtonsville in this northeastern Clermont County township.
Kimberly D. Hall, 41, of Fayetteville, and Brandie Baker, 28, of Goshen were pronounced dead at the scene.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said the crash occurred when one of the vehicles went left of center at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Hall was the only occupant of her car, which was eastbound on Ohio 131. She crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Rylan Harcourt, 20, of Loveland, officials said Friday.
Baker was a passenger in Harcourt's vehicle.
Harcourt, along with three other passengers in the vehicle - children ages 2, 3, and 8 - were hospitalized. Their conditions were unavailable.
