Burlington woman dies as car hits tree

WALTON - A Burlington woman was killed Friday night when the car in which she was a passenger struck a tree on Richwood Road.
Kathleen Villasuso, 47, died at University Hospital shortly after the 8:45 p.m. accident, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say the driver of the Nissan Quest, whose name was not released, lost control near Chambers Lane. Officials said seat belts were not used. The accident is under investigation.
