Mary Zimmerman: The Tony Award-winning director is at Playhouse in the Park to discuss her creation Metamorphoses, an original retelling of Greek legends staged around a pool of water. Cooking Expo

Final Day: Today is the last day to experience Cooking by Design, a new kitchen/consumer lifestyle show with more than 200 exhibitors with the latest products, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, celebrity chef appearances, seminars and more, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Northern Kentucky Convention Center, RiverCenter Boulevard, Covington. Baseball exhibit: The blockbuster Baseball as America exhibit at Cincinnati Museum Center closes next Sunday. The show features more than 500 photographs and artifacts from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. Highlights include the first ball pitched by Cy Young in the first World Series in 1903, vintage photographs of Jackie Robinson, famous players' mitts and original essays by noted writers.
