Bullying solutions will be offered

GREEN TWP. - Bullying will be the topic of Bridgetown Middle School's Parent Education Night 7 p.m. Wednesday at the school's media center, 3900 Race Road.

The program, "With A Child's Heart," will focus on recognizing, preventing and intervening in situations where children are being bullied. Practical strategies to address this subject will also be discussed.

Tom Dillingham, with the Hamilton County Educational Service Center, will assist with the program. He is a professional development trainer nationally certified in the area of parent education and non-violent crisis intervention. Information: 574-3511.

Sycamore: Levy, finances to be topic

BLUE ASH - Finances and levy considerations will be discussed Wednesday morning by the Sycamore Board of Education.

The 7:30 a.m. public meeting will be at Blue Ash Elementary School's Raymond Walters wing.

Residents may ask questions at the meeting or submit finance-related questions to public information officer Krista Ramsey at ramseyk@sycamoreschools.org or by calling 791-4848, ext. 342.

Lakota: Open forum Thursday

WEST CHESTER TWP. - Lakota Schools Superintendent Kathleen Klink will meet with parents in an informal coffee set for 7 at the Lakota Early Childhood Center, 5070 Tylersville Road.

During the hour-long session, Klink invites community members to discuss any education issue or Lakota specific topic.

Mason Middle: Baby-sitting class

MASON - A baby sitting course for Mason Middle School students will be 2:30-5 p.m. Thursdays, Nov. 6 through Dec. 6 at the school, 770 S. Mason-Montgomery Road.

The cost is $60. Registration forms are available at the school. Information: 336-9993.

Milford High: Publications cited

MILFORD - Excerpts from Milford High School's publications, The Reflector, school newspaper, and Droflim, school yearbook, are included in the recently published National Scholastic Press Association's "Best of the High School Press." The book is a collection from more than 200 schools of the best-published work by high school students.

Taylor: Hands program open house

COLERAIN TWP. - The Hands school-based health center will hold an open house 10 a.m.-noon and 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday at its Taylor Elementary School location, 3173 Springdale Road.

The center provides health care to students from Taylor, Houston, Struble, Bevis and Pleasant Run elementary schools.
