Villa Madonna boosters raise funds, honor school



VILLA HILLS - The athletic booster club at Villa Madonna Academy will host its annual Italian dinner Thursday in the school cafeteria, 2500 Amsterdam Road. Dinner will be served 5-8 p.m. Cost is $7.50, $5 for children under 12. The evening includes a celebration of VMA being named a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Ursuline: Play to be presented

Badin: Sculpture to be auctioned

HAMILTON - Stephen T. Badin High School's sculpture, "The OJ Commentator's Bench," will be part of Thursday' Bats Incredible auction. The auction will be conducted via the Internet at www.batsincredible.com. The school will receive half the proceeds.

Miami Christian: Silent auction Friday

NEWTOWN - Miami Valley Christian Academy will host a silent auction as part of its "Christmas Around the World" fund-raiser set for 6:30 p.m. Friday.Tickets: $20, $35 per couple in advance; all tickets $25 each at the door. Call 272-6822.

La Salle: Dinner production begins

GREEN TWP. - La Salle High School will present the Irish musical, Finnegan's Farewell as a dinner production, beginning 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at the school, 3091 North Bend Road. Tickets, $15, can be reserved by calling 741-2369.

Moeller: Band booster antique show

SYCAMORE TWP. - Archbishop Moeller High School Band Boosters will sponsor an antique show 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday at the school, 9001 Montgomery Road.

Admission is $3 for those 13 years old or older.

St. Ursula: Presents play this week

EAST WALNUT HILLS - St. Ursula Academy's Ensemble Theater presents A Piece of My Heart, 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 2339 E. McMillan St. There will be 2 p.m. performances Saturday and Sunday. Tickets: $8, $5 for veterans and senior citizens. Call 961-3410, ext. 190.
