Boone County

Mildred Brown

BURLINGTON - Mildred Allen Brown, 82, a homemaker, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

Surviving are a son, Charles; and daughter, Jo Ann Sorensen.

Visitation will be 10-10:30 a.m. and service 10:30 a.m. today at Highland Cemetery Chapel in Fort Mitchell. Entombment will be in Highland Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Ian Michael Himes

BURLINGTON - Ian Michael Himes, a four-day-old infant, died Friday at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Surviving are his parents, Jeff and Kathy Himes; brother, Alex Himes; sister, Sydney Himes; grandmother, Annette Himes; and grandparents, Tom and Mary Ann Moore.

No public services planned. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Linnemann Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Floyd N. Burns

FLORENCE - Floyd N. Burns, 82, a chef who worked at the University Club in downtown Cincinnati for more than 30 years, and a World War II Navy veteran, died Tuesday at his home in Florence.

Surviving are his wife, Esther Ellen Burns; daughter, Deborah Burns Woodruff; and two brothers, Victor and Robert.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today and service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Memorials: Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3200 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45220.

Linda Southwick

FLORENCE - Linda Sue Southwick, 51, a homemaker, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are three sons, Steve, Clinton and Dan; and a daughter, Shawna Southwick Fox.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. and a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Beginning Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3830 Narrows Road, Erlanger. No public burial information. Swindler & Currin Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Ronald D. Keller

WALTON - Ronald D. Keller, 57, a wood worker for Independence Lumber Co., died Tuesday at his home in Walton.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Groger Keller; daughter, Ashley Keller Born; and a son, Kristen Keller.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today and service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.

Campbell County

Gordon A. Porter

ALEXANDRIA - Gordon A. Porter, 65, director of marketing for Sealtron Inc. on Reading Road in Cincinnati, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.

Surviving are his wife, Diane; and three sons, Alan, Daniel and Michael.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. and service 8 p.m. today at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, Calif.

Lorraine Calme

BELLEVUE - Lorraine Lillian Calme, 89, a homemaker, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.

Surviving are two daughters, Patty Burkart, and Lynn Krohmer; and two sons, Ed and Tom.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at A.C. Dobbling & Son Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Divine Mercy Parish Church, 318 Division St., Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Roberta M. Johnson

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Roberta M. Johnson, 78, of Highland Heights, formerly of Covington and a former clerk for the IGA in the Latonia neighborhood of Covington, died Tuesday at Northern Kentucky Care & Rehabilitation Center in Highland Heights.

Surviving are a son, Tom Jr.; and daughter, Margaret Delaney.

No public services planned. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill. Swindler & Currin Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Nicholas C. Katon

NEWPORT - Nicholas C. Katon, 77, a retired musician, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Surviving are three daughters, Theresa A. Katon, Kathleen M. Downing and Karen Katon.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Friday at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home in Newport. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Wilder.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Kenton County

Frances A. Lund

ERLANGER - Frances A. Lund, 81, of Erlanger, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, a retired teacher, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Surviving are a son, Edward; and four daughters, Elaine Halenkamp, Evelyn Haungs, Elizabeth Corber and Esther Stamler.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Topeka Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas. Don Catchen & Son Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Catherine Mascari

ERLANGER - Catherine Weir Mascari, 80, a retired nurse's aide, died Saturday at Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community in Clifton.

Surviving is her daughter, Lynda Mascari.

No public services planned. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas. Allison & Rose Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Amy Diciero

FORT WRIGHT - Amy Gates Diciero, 36, a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, died Saturday at her home in Fort Wright.

Surviving are her husband, John Diciero; daughter, Nicole Gates; and her parents, Joseph and Mary Gates.

No public services planned. Burial was in St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Elgen Morgan

LUDLOW - Elgen Stanton "Bud" Morgan, 67, a machinist for Duro Bag Manufacturing Co. for more than 40 years, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Surviving are three daughters, Pam Bertram, Cynthia Morgan and Tonya Cornett; and a son, Jeff.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today and service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Ludlow. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate.

Walter Seiter

LUDLOW - Walter "Tootie" Seiter, 84, an employee for Kraft Foods and World War II Army veteran, died Wednesday at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere.

Surviving is a brother, Charles of Warsaw.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Shirley Russell

TAYLOR MILL - Shirley Jeanne Russell, 77, a homemaker, died Sundayat St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; and two daughters, Kim Rothfuss and Shari Robinson.

No public services planned. The Cremation Society of Greater Cincinnati is handling arrangements.

Pendleton County

Howard Thompson

BERRY - Howard N. "Dick" Thompson, 90, died Sunday at his home in Berry.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Worthington Thompson; a stepdaughter, Carleen Harris; and two stepsons, Henry Wolfe and Jerry Wolfe.

Services have been held. Burial was in Pythian Grove Cemetery in Pendleton County. Woodhead Funeral Homes handled arrangements.

Landen Spence

FALMOUTH - Landen Joseph Spence, a 23-month-old child, died Sunday at his home in Falmouth.

Surviving area his parents, Allen and Paula Spence; brother, Garrett Stephen Spence; maternal grandparents, Joe Paul and Janet Delaney; and paternal grandparents, Bill and Mildred Spence.

Services have been held. Burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Falmouth.
