Kentucky obituaries



Boone County

John E. Hetterman

WALTON - John E. Hetterman, 78, a farmer, a retired teacher for Kenton County Schools, and World War II Army veteran, died Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

His wife, Lucille F. Kitchen Hetterman, died in 1995.

Survivors include a son, John, and two daughters, Judy Wilson, and Susan Schlosnagle.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church in Walton. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona.

Memorials: All Saints Catholic Church, 62 Needmore St., Walton, KY 41094.

Campbell County

Warner W. Ginter

ALEXANDRIA - Warner W. Ginter, 89, a retired traffic manager, died Thursday at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash.

His wife, Antoinette Ginter, died in 2003, and a son, David, died in 1982.

He is survived by a son, Richard; and three sisters, Eleanor Leitz, May Pryor and Margaret Strack.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday and service 10 a.m. Monday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati.

Lee B. Kasson Jr.

FORT THOMAS - Lee B. Kasson Jr., 80, of Cincinnati, formerly of Fort Thomas, a retired lawyer and World War II Army veteran, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital in Fort Thomas.

Surviving are his brother, Don and a sister, Barbara Lencke.

Memorial service will be at Norman Chapel at 10 a.m. Nov. 14 in Spring Grove Cemetery, Winton Place. A.C. Dobbling & Son Funeral Homes in charge.

Kenton County

Clyde Harrington Sr.

COVINGTON - Clyde Wilburn Harrington Sr., 67, a Covington Parks & Recreation Dept. retiree, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Covington.

He was an Army veteran and member of American Legion Post 203 in Latonia.

His daughter Teresa F. Harrington died in 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. Goins Harrington; a son, Clyde Jr.; two daughters, Beverly Fitch and Patricia McKenzie, and sisters, Shirley Carney and Rebecca Fussnecker.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. and service 11 a.m. Saturday at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Covington. Burial with honor guard at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.

Grace Malott

COVINGTON - Grace "Boone" Malott, 97, a homemaker, died Wednesday at Columbia Health Care Center in Reading.Her husband, Russell, died in 1968. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Don Catchen & Son Funeral Homes in charge.

Ann L. Gallenstein

CRESTVIEW HILLS - Ann L. Jacobs Gallenstein, 77, a homemaker, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Her husband, Harry, died in March. .

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Matlock, Kathy Bondick and Theresa Nolting; and four sons, John, Michael, Henry and Paul.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Saturday at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Erlanger. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Maysville.

Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes in charge.

Mary Collier

FALMOUTH - Mary Carolyn Collier, 85, a retired cafeteria worker, died Thursday at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana.

Her husband, Eldon, died in 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Joe and David.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Mills Christian Church.

Burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Pendleton County.

Memorials: Antioch Mills Christian Church, U.S. 27, Berry, KY 41003.
