LOUISVILLE - A Kentucky native who is chief of staff to U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow will join President Bush's re-election campaign next month as policy director.
Tim Adams, 42, a Murray native, will become Bush's top adviser on presidential-race issues leading up to next year's election.
Adams is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and holds two graduate degrees from UK.
He will assume the post held in the first Bush campaign by Josh Bolten, now director of the Office of Management and Budget.
