Kentucky obituaries



The Kentucky Enquirer publishes free obituaries of residents in Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton and Pendleton counties. Funeral homes may call (859) 578-5555 Monday through Friday; (513) 768-8600 Saturdays and Sundays. Some information may be omitted from obituaries to ensure that the most notices can be published.

Campbell County

Goldy S. Brown

DAYTON - Goldy S. Brown, 62, of St. Bernard, a retired food service worker for Procter & Gamble, died Tuesday at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.

Survivors include her sister, Evelyn Bowen.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon and the service will be at noon Monday at New Beginnings Community Church, 522 Fifth Ave., Dayton, Ky. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery in Winton Place. Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.

Evelyn V. DeRossett

FORT THOMAS - Evelyn V. DeRossett, 83, a retired operator for Cincinnati Bell Telephone Co., died Thursday at Northern Kentucky Care & Rehabilitation Center in Highland Heights.

Her son Rex Fahlbush died in 1975.

Survivors include: her son Edward Fahlbush; two brothers, Richard Eaton and Lawrence Steffen; and a sister, Patricia Wagner.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. and the service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Alexandria Funeral Home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.

Jimmy R. Sergent

ELSMERE - Jimmy R. Sergent, 61, a machinist for R.A. Jones, and a member and deacon at New Banklick Baptist Church in Walton, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; a daughter, Teresa Sergent; a son, Kevin; a sister, Sue Ryland; and two brothers, Jack and Johnnie Sergent.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Banklick Baptist Church in Walton. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger. Memorials: New Banklick Baptist Church, 10719 Banklick Road, Walton, KY 41094.
