UC, UK meet in NCAA men's soccer Saturday
The Enquirer and wire reports
The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team will play Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the UK Soccer Complex in Lexington.
This is UC's second trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats lost to Butler 1-0 in overtime in the first round of the 1998 tournament.
Kentucky (12-6-1) defeated UC (10-4-5) this season, 1-0, in Cincinnati.
The Bearcats, ranked fifth in the Great Lakes Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, were upset by Charlotte in the Conference USA Tournament last Friday.
UK is ranked seventh in the region. The winner of the UC-Kentucky game will meet No. 8 seed Indiana in the second round Nov. 26.

Other signings include fellow Scott swimmer Leigh Ann Myers with Western Kentucky and Dixie Heights cross country runner Adam Stoppelwerth with Northern Kentucky.
