Liza Minnelli has sued estranged husband David Gest for at least $2 million, claiming that he stole from her.
Minnelli's lawsuit questions Gest's expense deductions from money she earned in performances that he produced, or in which he acted as her agent.
Gest's lawyer, Raoul Felder, denied that Gest stole anything from Minnelli. Felder said his client had in fact "laid out millions of dollars" to produce his wife's shows and ultimately had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Minnelli, 57, and Gest, 50, married March 16, 2002, at a celebrity-studded ceremony that featured best man Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor as maid of honor. They separated last July and have sued one another for divorce.
