Best Bets: What's on TV tonight

Gannett News Service

Must-see

Friends, 8 and 8:30 p.m., Channels 5, 22.

This show's Thanksgiving-themed episodes have been an annual delight. Now there is a new one at 8 p.m., followed by a rerun of last year's show at 8:30 p.m.

The new one has Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette) preparing a grand feast. She's obsessive, as usual. The others, however, are scattered. There is a baby beauty contest, a hockey game and more. The turkey bakes; Monica fumes.

The rerun has Christina Applegate as Rachel's immensely self-centered sister. When she asks who would get the baby if Rachel dies, the reactions are hilarious.
