Boone County

Leslie Hamilton

WALTON - Leslie "Tommie" Hamilton, 84, a retired assembler for American Laundry Machine Co. in Cincinnati, a World War II Navy veteran and a farmer, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital in Florence.

H is daughter, Barbara Ann Hamilton, and two sons, Timothy and Ronald, died previously.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Himes Hamilton, and a son, Larry.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon and the service will be at noon today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Pendleton County.

Kenton County

Ellie Yelton

COVINGTON - Ellie Spaulding Yelton, 84, a homemaker, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Covington.

Her first husband, Lucian Bowen, and her second husband, Roy Yelton, died previously.

Survivors include three daughters, Gertrude Hardy, Octavia McQueary and Juanita Ivey; two brothers, Charlie and Roy Spaulding, and a sister, Juanita Gee.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. and the service will be at 11 a.m. today at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.

Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice Program, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, KY 41014-9988.

William Condon

ERLANGER - William Patrick Condon, 74, owner of 9th Street Parking Garage in Cincinnati and a Korean War Army veteran, died Sunday at Woodspoint Geriatric Health Care Center in Florence.

His wife, Pauline, died in 2002.

Survivors include a daughter, Anne Conway;a son, William; two stepdaughters, Sherry Aubrey and Laurie Billiter, and a stepson, Mike Cason.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. and a memorial service will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home in Florence. Mr. Condon's remains will be cremated.

Frank P. Herzog

FORT WRIGHT - Frank P. "Bud" Herzog, 89, of Cincinnati, formerly of Fort Wright, a retired plant manager for the Avey Co. and an assistant plant manager for the Signode Corporation in Florence, died Sunday at the Alois Alzheimer Center in Cincinnati.

Mr. Herzog was a member of St. Agnes Church in Fort Wright and a former director of the senior citizens' board at the church.

His wife, Marcella, died in 1986.

Survivors include three brothers, William, Richard and Paul, and three sisters, Mary Murphy, Rita Kramer and Joanne Hacker.

Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Hwy., Fort Wright. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Connley Brothers Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
