Promotions and new on the job

• Liese Hoover has been named vice president, strategic planning at Freedman, Gibson & White. Hoover was director of account planning. She will supervise account service staff and oversee client accounts. As vice president, strategic planning, she will continue to lead efforts related to the Freedman, Gibson & White proprietary program: VISTA, a multi-step planning process offered to FG&W clients to help determine corporate vision and directions, as well as strategic analysis and brand/positioning work.

• James F. Hewitt Jr. has been named assistant vice president at Fifth Third Bank. Carrie Gordley and Robb Doll have been named assistant cashiers.

• Natalie Schoeny has joined Comey & Shepherd Realtors as an associate specializing in residential sales.

• Neil J. O'Connor has been named chairman of Accountants Global Network International-North America, Inc. (AGN-NA). O'Connor is chairman of Clark Schaefer, Hackett & Co. in Cincinnati and a founding member firm of 25-year old AGN-NA. He will preside at meetings of the North American region's board of directors and executive committee throughout 2004. He has served on AGN-NA's board since 1997 and its executive committee since 2000. He joined Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. in 1966, became Cincinnati managing partner in 1974, president in 1998, and chairman in 2002.

• Kristin Bibart has been named associate account executive at LPK (Libby Perszyk Kathman), and Missy Rafie to design director. David Johnson joined the firm as design delineator and John McKenzie as production director.

• Dave Lawrence has been named general manager, global mold technologies for Milacron Inc.

• Cheri Hewald has been named branch manager of the Anderson office for Coldwell Banker West Shell. Hewald has over 12 years of real estate sales and management experience in the Tristate area. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors and the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati.

• Beth Poe has been named special events/public relations coordinator at Redwood Rehabilitation Center, and Stacey Seltman has joined as volunteer coordinator.

• Nathan H. Blaske has joined the law firm of Wood & Lamping as an associate. Blaske will focus his practice in litigation. He will concentrate in insurance defense litigation. He is a recent graduate of Salmon P. Chase Law School.
