Wise Choice owner Harry Caswell has moved his plum puddings, treacle tarts, mince pies and other goodies from the British Isles to a larger location: 6171 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights, near Dayton. Silpat is the trademark name for the flat, nonstick baking pan liner becoming more popular with American home bakers. Introduced in France in 1982, Silpat is made of fiberglass and silicone, and needs no greasing, withstands high oven temperatures and lasts almost indefinitely.
