VILLA HILLS - The public is invited to a party at Villa Madonna Academy.
In honor of being named a No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education, the academy will host a celebration 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the athletic facility, 2500 Amsterdam Road.
All students in grades 1-12 will attend.

Guardian Angels puts on Nativity play
MOUNT WASHINGTON - Kindergartners at Guardian Angels School in Mount Washington will re-enact the Nativity at 11 a.m.Wednesday in Guardian Angels Church, 6531 Beechmont Ave.The play is a 20-year tradition.
Purcell invites students to game
EAST WALNUT HILLS - Students who attend feeder schools to Purcell Marian High School are invited to Friday's basketball game against Stephen T. Badin High School at no cost.
Complimentary tickets for students in grades 6-8 will be available at each school's office, but not at the gate.
Qualifying schools are Cardinal Pacelli, St. Cecilia, St. Francis de Sales, Holy Trinity, Nativity, Our Mother of Sorrows, Prince of Peace and St. Mary's.
Seven Hills Upper holds choral concert
MADISONVILLE - Seven Hills Upper School will present its Winter Choral Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday at the school, 5400 Red Bank Road.
The concert will feature the Upper School Concert Chorus, the select girls chorus Triple Trio and the select boys chorus Men of Note.

Two performances set at Sacred Heart
FAIRFIELD - Bands from Sacred Heart and St. Gabriel schools will join for a Christmas concert 7:30 p.m. today at Sacred Heart School cafeteria, 400 Nilles Road.
Sacred Heart's chorus will present "A Winter Concert'' at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria.
La Salle collects winter clothing
GREEN TWP. - The La Salle High School wrestling team is collecting used coats, hats, gloves and other clothing items through Friday.
Items can be dropped off in the school's main lobby, 3091 North Bend Road.
Information: 741-2303. Items will be taken to Catholic Social Services for distribution.
