Rodger, Lillian hope to survive gift wrap

Cincinnati's Survivors are about to meet for the first time.

Lillian "Big Lill" Morris of Deerfield Township and Rodger "Kentucky Joe" Bingham of Crittenden will meet Sunday at Newport on the Levee. The occasion is the Make-a-Wish Foundation's Celebrity Gift Wrap where local celebs will wrap your gifts in exchange for a donation to the charity.

"Lillian has indicated that she wants to be there for the whole event (11 a.m.-6 p.m.), but Rodger can only be there for part of it (1-4 p.m.)" says Kevin Manley, executive director of the local chapter.

"But it's their first public meeting, so we're thinking they'll be some pretty interesting hours.

They'll probably sign autographs as well as wrap."

Morris finished second in the recently concluded Survivor: Pearl Islands and took home $100,000; Bingham finished fifth in Survivor: Outback in 2001.

Manley's goal is to raise $5,000 to grant the wish of a Northern Kentucky boy named T.J., who wants to meet actor/wrestler The Rock. Other celebs wrapping include radio and TV types and local sports figures.
