Ind. man killed in U.S. 50 crash

ADDYSTON - A 39-year-old Aurora, Ind., man was fatally injured in a head-on crash on U.S. 50 Sunday afternoon. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash occurred at 4:10 p.m. when a 1985 Chevrolet S-10 driven by the man went left of center near the intersection of Sekitan Avenue and hit two westbound vehicles, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Addyston Police Department said. The man's name had not been released late Sunday pending notification of relatives. He was taken by Aire Care helicopter to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:24 p.m.
His vehicle hit a 2003 Infiniti driven by Timothy Griffin, 64, of North Bend, and a 1993 Ford Explorer operated by Helen R. Tripp, 59, of Cleves. Griffin was taken to University for treatment of multiple injuries. Tripp was not injured.
