DURHAM, N.C. - J.J. Redick scored a season-high 22 points, and freshman Luol Deng added 18 Monday to lead No. 2 Duke past Davidson 88-54.

Shelden Williams added 14 points and six blocks for the Blue Devils (9-1), who pushed their home winning streak to a national-best 33 games, and have won six straight overall.

Ian Johnson scored 14 points to lead the Wildcats (4-7), who have lost 17 straight games against Duke.

No. 3 Georgia Tech 86, VCU 65

ATLANTA - Marvin Lewis scored 19 points and Georgia Tech survived a lackluster second half in getting off to its best start ever.

The Yellow Jackets have their highest ranking since Feb. 3, 1986, when they were No. 2, and at 12-0, they're one game better than the 1962-63 team.

B.J. Elder and Jarrett Jack each added 17 points for Georgia Tech.

Michael Doles and Domonic Jones each had 15 points for the Rams (6-3), who were without staring point guard Alexander Harper, who is out four-to-six weeks after having surgery Monday to repair a broken bone in his foot.

No. 7 Oklahoma 72, Texas-Pan American 57

NORMAN, Okla. - Kevin Bookout scored a season-high 18 points and had 12 rebounds and Jaison Williams added 17 points for the Sooners (9-0).

Chris Fagan had 13 points for Texas-Pan American (3-9), which has lost six straight.

Oklahoma closed the half on a 13-4 run to lead 37-25.

No. 13 Kansas 78, Binghamton 46

LAWRENCE, Kan. - J. R. Giddens scored 16 points and Keith Langford had 14 for the Jayhawks (7-2), who opened the game with a 19-2 run.

Brandon Carter led the Bearcats (4-6) with 14 points. Binghamton was playing for the first time in 12 days and was away from home for the ninth time in 10 games.

No. 19 Texas 88, George Washington 72

AUSTIN, Texas - Freshman P.J. Tucker scored a season-high 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in his first start for the Longhorns.

Texas (6-2) opened the game with an 11-0 run that was keyed by three inside baskets by Tucker.

Greg Collucci had 23 points for the Colonials (6-5).

No. 25 Marquette 77, Sacred Heart 72

MILWAUKEE - Travis Diener scored 22 points to lead the Golden Eagles.

Marquette (9-2) led by as many as 15 points in the first half, only to have Sacred Heart (4-5) close to 62-61 with 5:43 left. But Terry Sanders scored on a three-point play to start a 6-0 run for the Golden Eagles, making it 68-61 with 3:43 left.

Maurice Bailey led Sacred Heart with 18 points.
