Playing 90 miles north of their campus, the 21st-ranked Golden Eagles were routed by Southern Mississippi 83-61.
Originally scheduled to be played today in Hattiesburg, Miss., the game was moved to Green Bay at the request of Southern Miss.
Despite a partisan crowd, the Golden Eagles (11-4, 2-2 C-USA) looked uncomfortable in their first appearance at the Resch Center.
Greg Johnson scored 24 points for Southern Miss (9-6, 2-2), which billed the game as an opportunity for Marquette fans to see the alma mater of Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
