Schools around Greater Cincinnati are offering help - and prayers - to Summit Country Day School.

Springer School, Cincinnati Country Day School, Mount Notre Dame High School, Seven Hills School and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy have offered to do whatever they can to assist Summit.

Yavneh Day School sent a letter offering to lend Summit early-childhood equipment and books while the space is being restored.

St. Ursula Academy offered the use of its 20-classroom Schott Hall after school hours and on weekends. It also offered the use of science labs.

"All anybody can do is say to Summit, 'When you know what you need, we are here to respond as best we can,' " said Sandra Theunick, head of school at Seven Hills, which has campuses in Madisonville and East Walnut Hills.

Theunick and the head of Seven Hills Upper School, Todd Bland, met with Summit officials and gave them a list of facilities Seven Hills could share with Summit.

That included office space, science labs, library, conference room and the use of the Upper School building at night, said Kathy Deubell, the school's spokeswoman.
