Cassell's 30 points add up to Wolves win

TORONTO - Sam Cassell had 30 points and 13 assists to lead Minnesota to a 108-97 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night, the Timberwolves' seventh win their last eight games.
Kevin Garnett had 28 points and 11 rebounds, and Latrell Sprewell added 24 points for Minnesota, which is 19-4 in its last 23 games.
Donyell Marshall had 22 points for the Raptors, who have lost three straight with Vince Carter sidelined by a sprained quadriceps.
Hawks 97, Bulls 87
ATLANTA - Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored eight points in an 11-0 run in the final 3:36 as Atlanta moved out of the Central cellar. The Hawks are in seventh place, a half-game ahead of the Bulls.

SAN ANTONIO - Manu Ginobili scored all eight of his points in a 18-6 run at the start of the fourth quarter, helping defending champion San Antonio beat New Jersey in a rematch of the NBA Finals.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Jason Williams had 17 points and 10 assists to help the Grizzlies to their sixth straight victory.
Los Angeles, playing without the injured Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone, has lost three of its last four games.

MILWAUKEE - Michael Redd scored 32 of his career-high 40 points in the second half. Redd had a three-point play with 47 seconds left, made his final 10 shots and was 12-of-15 in the second half.

NEW ORLEANS - Glenn Robinson scored 23 points and Allen Iverson had 22 for Philadelphia.
John Salmons added 12 points, and Samuel Dalembert had 10 rebounds to help the Sixers snap a three-game losing streak and extend New Orleans' losing streak to two.
CAVALIERS: LeBron James shot baskets during practice, but coach Paul Silas said the rookie isn't ready to play and is likely to miss his second straight game because of a sprained right ankle.
Darius Miles, who was fined by the Cavaliers for oversleeping and skipping a practice earlier this week, was dealt to the Trail Blazers for point guard Jeff McInnis and center Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje.
BRYANT CASE: A hearing to determine whether Kobe Bryant's accuser in a sexual assault case has given up her medical privacy rights will be closed to the public, a judge ruled. A hearing is set for Friday to determine whether Bryant's attorneys can prove the 19-year-old woman has given up her privacy rights by discussing her condition and treatment with others.
