The Dayton Art Institute presents Japanese Kimonos of the Twentieth Century, offering insight into Japanese culture through traditional dress. Is Schoenberg's music hip? Yes, when it's played by Mischa Santora and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. Santora opens his new "Twentieth Century Classics" series in the Fifth Third Bank Theatre at the Aronoff at 7:30 p.m., with Schoenberg's Verklarte Nacht (Transfigured Night) and Pierrot Lunaire. The third annual "A Moveable Feast" benefit at College-Conservatory of Music begins at 7:30 p.m. with a Big Band prelude, after which guests can create their own artistic (and culinary) menu from 8 to 10 p.m., with short performances and backstage tours of the University of Cincinnati performing complex.
