COVINGTON: Library changes with the times
Since opening its doors 30 years ago, the Kenton County Public Library has gone high-tech.
There are 135 computers for public use at its three locations. Record albums have been replaced by CDs, and in one of the most visible changes, children are no longer told to be quiet. Today, programs and story times encourage children to sing and act out their favorite books.
FOREST PARK: Rape suspect to be arraigned
Police said Sunday they hope the arrest of a man accused of raping a 43-year-old woman last week will put residents' minds to rest.
Vincent Underwood, 37, is expected to be arraigned today in municipal court on three counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary, Forest Park police said. He was arrested Saturday
