Promotions and new on the job

• Jetta Anderson has joined Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine as supervisor of the Beacon Imaging Center. Anderson has trained at the Christ Hospital of Cincinnati and will oversee all imaging and dexa testing needs for the new center in Sharonville.

• Jeff Klare and Salil Kulkarni have been named vice presidents at Fifth Third Bank; Mary Oergel, assistant vice president; and Abbie Chan, Michael A. Meade, and Ina Malhotra, assistant cashiers.

• Shawn T. Groomes has joined Grant Thornton as senior tax manager. Groomes will be responsible for tax compliance and consulting matters. He was senior tax manager with Deloitte in Louisville. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Capital University.

• The following have joined Coldwell Banker West Shell as residential real estate specialists: Kenneth Joseph Kostas, Crestview Hills; Steve Smith, and Woodrow G. Mace, Fairfield; Daniel Cho and Brett Lee Rose, West Chester Tri-County; Tom Deutsch Jr., and Lynn E. Cipriani, Western Hills; and Kathy Ryczek, Wyoming.

• Greg Weyman has joined Strata-G Communications as senior account manager. Weyman will be responsible for managing integrated marketing communications, public relations, and web-based programs, in addition to new business development. He was senior account executive at Loren/Allan/Odioso Advertising in Cincinnati. He received his bachelor's degree in marketing and management from the University of Cincinnati.

• H. Michael Lewellen Jr. and Robert J. Wassel Jr. have joined The O'Dell Group Inc. as financial advisors.

• Dr. Linda Smith-Krill has been appointed president of the Cincinnati Dental Society. Smith-Krill is the first woman president in the history of the Cincinnati Dental Society and has been a member since 1988. She currently practices general dentistry in the Cincinnati area. She graduated with a doctor of dental medicine from the University of Louisville in 1982.


• Mike Guetle of HHB Partners Inc., has received an award for the 2003 Personal Marketing category for medium/small firms from the Ohio Association of Realtors.

• Lebanon has presented its first Community Service Award to Ghent Manufacturing Inc., a producer of visual communication aids located at 2999 Henkle Drive in the Lebanon Commerce Center.
