Window box: Crazy Daisy in Mount Adams is one of those shops you can't tear yourself away from once you find a parking space. Along with soy candles, handmade cards, earrings and photos by Aimie

Gajus, we found this stick-um plastic window box made of five heavy-duty plastic compartments, each about 11/2 inches wide. We popped in some recently delivered roses and water and pressed the whole thing against an office window. The verdict: The roses stayed fresher and bloomed longer than others kept in a vase with preservative. $10.50. 1104 St. Gregory St. 721-9090.
