UC falls to 10th in latest AP poll

Cincinnati dropped two places to 10th in the new Associated Press poll. This is the fifth Crosstown Shootout in the Bob Huggins era with the Bearcats ranked in the top 10 (they're 3-2 in those games). Overall, UC is 11-2 against the Musketeers when ranked in the top 10.

Purdue drops UC from schedule

The Bearcats will be looking for an opponent for the 2004 season. Purdue, which was to meet the Bearcats on Sept. 18, replaced UC with a game against Syracuse.

Henson leaving Yankees for NFL

Yankees prospect Drew Henson will forfeit the final $12 million of his contract to pursue an NFL career. Henson, whose rights are held by the Houston Texans, will workout for the team Feb. 12 as a showcase to the other 31 NFL teams. The Texans plan to trade him.
