Pulitzer nominee stops at Lazarus

Meet Pulitzer Prize nominee Annie Ruth noon-1 p.m. Thursday in the men's fragrance
department at Lazarus-Macy's, downtown. She'll read excerpts from Reflection:
A Collection of Straight Talk and Inspirational Narratives, and perform poetry
and songs from her CD, Soul of a Sister.

The Go Red For Women Gund teddy bear will be sold through February for $10, with 50 percent of sales going to the American Heart Association.
Wear red Friday: Grab something red from your closet Friday for the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" campaign to educate women on their heart disease risk. Men and women are asked to wear red to show support in the fight against heart disease. One in three women's deaths is from cardiovascular disease. Information: www.americanheart.org.
