Sycamore to hold kindergarten signups
BLUE ASH - Sycamore Community Schools will hold kindergarten registration 3-5:30 p.m. today at district elementary schools.
Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2004, may enroll.
To register, bring:
Proof of residency.
Child's birth certificate.
Complete registration packet.
If applicable, a certified copy of child custody order or decree.
Parents may request a registration packet from their neighborhood elementary school or call the Board of Education at 791-4848.
Restaurant to help principal's family
MADEIRA - Those who eat at Ferrari's Little Italy and Bakery next week will help the family of Roger Slagle, the 34-year-old Sellman Middle School principal who died last October.
The fund-raiser will run Sunday through Wednesday. Twenty-five percent of all proceeds from those dining in or carryout orders from 4-9 p.m. Sunday or 5-10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, will be donated to the Roger Slagle Fund.
