Absentee ballots available now
Ohioans who will not be able to make it to their polling place on March 2 can get an absentee ballot by writing or visiting their Board of Elections. Requests should include name, address, reason for voting absentee, mailing address and signature. Deadline is March 2. The Hamilton County Board of Elections Office, 824 Broadway, downtown, is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday. Information: www.hamilton-co.org/boe/ or call 632-7089.

Parents can meet superintendent
NORTHSIDE - Cincinnati Parents for Public Schools is sponsoring a public forum with Cincinnati Public Schools Superintendent Alton Frailey 6-8 p.m. today at Chase School, 4151 Turrill St.
TRAFFIC WATCH
Dixie Highway will be closed south of Ragtown Road in Grant County from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. through Friday.
Weller Avenue will be closed and parking will be prohibited from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Pleasant and Zimmerman avenues in Hamilton beginning Friday and continuing through April 9.
