Promotions and new on the job

• Nicole Christian, vice president of business development for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to the International Visitors Council of Greater Cincinnati. Christian has been with the chamber since 1995.

• Jason Tonne has been named an associate with the law firm of Strauss & Troy.

• Aimee L. Keller and John B. Nalbandian have been named partners in the law firm of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP, Cincinnati office.

• Charles R. Bradley has been appointed senior vice president of finance for consumer banking and operations at Fifth Third Bancorp. Bradley is responsible for the financial management of the Bancorp's mortgage banking, consumer lending, bank and investment operations departments.

• Thomas A. Jackson and Charles T. McGinins have joined the law firm of Freking & Betz as associates.

• Tim McCormick has joined Xavier University as operations manager of the Gallagher Student Center.

• Monica R. Thompson has joined Barnes, Dennig & Co. Ltd. as senior accountant and Nicolle R. Donald as staff accountant/tax preparer.

• Jane Hallman Schulte has joined David E. Gerner & Associates as business manager.

• Jeff Weingartner has joined ADCM Inc. as project superintendent.

• Michael Haftel has been named campus chair of the Information Systems and Technology Program (IS&T) at the University of Phoenix-Cincinnati campus.

• Kathy Schneider has joined the National Underwriter Co. as director of human resources.

• Michele Phillips has been named associate media director at Loren/Allan/Odioso, a marketing communications firm. Phillips will manage broadcast, print and out-of-home media planning and buying.


• Dr. Robert S. Heidt Jr., an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, has been named an Ohio Outstanding Team Physician for 2004. The award is presented by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association and the Joint Advisory Committee on Sports Medicine of the Ohio State Medical Association. The award recognizes Dr. Heidt's more than 20 years of service as orthopedic team physician to the St. Xavier Bombers.
