Schott said to be improving slowly
MOUNT AUBURN - Marge Schott, hospitalized for breathing problems, continues to improve. The former majority owner of the Cincinnati Reds remains in intensive care at the Christ Hospital. She has been on a ventilator for the better part of a week. Mari Lee Schwarzwalder, Schott's friend and the director of the Warren County Humane Association, said, "Marge is doing better than yesterday. "Looks like she's going to make it," Schwarzwalder added. She based her optimism on a conversation she had with a Schott employee familiar with her condition. Schwarzwalder added these words of caution. "It's going to be a long, long road to recovery."
