FOREST PARK - The Winton Woods City School District will hold "Ask the Superintendent" community forums this week to answer questions about the school levy on the March 2 ballot:

7 p.m. Wednesday at Winton Woods Middle School, 147 Farragut Road.
7 p.m. Thursday at the high school, 1231 W. Kemper Road.
Winton Woods is asking a combination levy of 7.95 mills that would raise $3.9 million annually and a 1-mill permanent improvement levy that would raise $493,000 annually. Cost: $274.09 on a $100,000 house.

Scholarships open to Loveland students
LOVELAND - The Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce will award two $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors attending public or private schools who reside within the boundaries of the Loveland Schools.
Criteria are academics, extracurricular activities and community service. One of the awards is given to a student who best exemplifies the character of Patricia Furterer, a longtime resident, former executive director of the chamber, 2002 Valentine Lady and Loveland promoter.
Applications are available in public and private high school guidance offices or by calling the chamber, 683-1544. Deadline for submitting applications to chamber offices, 510 W. Loveland Ave., is March 26.
Hallway brighteners win district award
LUDLOW - The seventh-grade teaching team at Ludlow Middle School has been honored for its efforts to brighten the hallways over winter break. Teachers Mike Baugh, Marc Frevola, Cory Highfield and Jodi Schmidt were given the district's PALS - Powerful Awesome Work - Award for January.
Dinner dance benefit for Kings athletics
DEERFIELD TWP. - The Kings Athletic Boosters is sponsoring a "Knight to Remember" fund-raising dinner and dance March 13 at The Oasis.
The 6 p.m. event includes dinner, a silent auction, raffles, dancing and a cash bar. Admission: $35. Reservations, due Friday, can be made by calling 398-7920.
