HAMILTON - Badin High School football coach Terry Malone will be honored at 7 p.m. Saturday at Tori's Station when the school hosts "A Night With Coach Malone."

Malone retired after the 2003 season as the winningest coach in Ohio high school football, 360-117-8 over a 46-year career. That record is No. 10 on the all-time list nationally, and Malone was the No. 5 active national winner when he announced his retirement.
Tickets are $50 with proceeds going to benefit Badin's new fitness center. Tickets can be purchased at the school, 571 New London Road, or call 863-3993, ext. 116.
Preschool signup at Sharonville Methodist
SHARONVILLE - Registration for preschool and kindergarten classes for 2004-05 will continue through the end of the month at Sharonville United Methodist Church, 3751 Creek Road. Half-day classes are offered for children ages 2-6. To enroll, call 563-8278 or visit the school.
Open house at St. Aloysius-on-the-Ohio
SAYLER PARK - St. Aloysius-on-the-Ohio will hold an open house for current and new families from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, ) at the school, 6207 Portage Ave. During the open house, there will be an art show featuring the work of students in grades 6-8. Badin High offers computer classes
HAMILTON - Badin High School will offer computer classes beginning today. Classes meet from 5:30-8 p.m. To register and for dates, call 863-3993, ext. 247. Classes include Introduction to Windows, Introduction to Word, Excel, and Home Computer Security.
Forest Park church offers homework help
FOREST PARK - Middle and junior high school students can get free tutoring every Tuesday at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church during the church's Homework Help program.
Adults will be in the computer room, 680 W. Sharon Road, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to offer assistance. Students can also use the computers for class assignments or research. Information: 825-3040.
State grant to pay for artist in residence
NEWTOWN - Queen of Angels Montessori has received a grant from the Ohio Arts Council for an Artist in Residence program.
Visual artist Stephen Fessler will work with students for the next two weeks. The children will make large canvas panels which will be hung permanently at Queen of Angels. Each child will also work on an individual canvas.
The residence will conclude March 5 with a community art show.
Teacher to be part of Carnegie Hall choir
INDIAN HILL - Cincinnati Country Day School vocal instructor Katie McCormick was chosen to participate in the Robert Shaw Choral Workshop in New York.
Following five days of instruction with Carnegie Hall's choral director, the chorus will perform Sunday. It will be accompanied by the Orchestra of St. Luke's and conducted by Charles Dutoit, musical director of the Orchestre National de France.
