Promotions and new on the job

• Brian J. Sarver has been named associate at Casler Design Group Inc. Sarver, a graduate of Kent State University, provides project design development, production and coordination services for corporate, institutional and medical office clients.

• The following have been appointed new members of the board of directors at the Greater Cincinnati Women's Chamber of Commerce: Christine Adamow, director of entrepreneurship, Miami University, assistant vice president; Robin Harvey, partner at Baker Hostettler LLP, vice president, legal affairs; Corrine McNally, financial analyst at Morgan Stanley, vice president, finance; Denise Porter, Cincinnati postmaster with the U.S. Postal Service, assistant vice president of community affairs; Donique Pugh, partner at Lincoln Financial LLC, vice president of global affairs; Jody Wainscott, vice president of Cincinnati Insurance Co., board secretary; Icy Williams, vice president, supplier diversity at Procter &Gamble, assistant vice president, business development; and Adriene Zuberi, vice president, community affairs at Fifth Third Bank, vice president, community affairs.

• Steven J. Valerius, has been named senior vice president at The Union Central Life Insurance Co. Valerius will be responsible for marketing and sales support for all individual products, as well as new business, field administration, service, and conference planning. He has also been appointed to Union Central's Strategic Planning Group.

• The following have been appointed new members of the board of directors at the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky African American Chamber of Commerce: Lucretia Askew, chief executive officer of Diversitech Inc.; Darius Bobo, community reinvestment act loan originator for Fifth Third Bank; Todd Hardy, vice president and market manager for business banking at Huntington Bank; Karen Hite, chief executive officer of NewHites Marketing and Administrative Solutions; Lisa Rowell, director of business development and marketing with Infrastructure Services Inc.; and Terrell Taylor Jr., assistant vice president and sector manager for the retail community bank of PNC Bank.

• John Banks has joined Advance4 LLCas director of resource development. Banks was regional resource development manager for Habitat for Humanity, International.

• Malinda Eisenmann has joined Dental Care Plus (DPC) as a provider relations representative. Eisenmann will act as a liaison between dentist providers and DCP administration, resolving issues, problems and concerns. She has 13 years of experience in the health insurance industry. For the last four years, she has been with Humana Health Plan of Ohio Inc.
