What does Carmen Electra really think of her Cincinnati family?
Thanks to Wednesday night's episode of 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave, we now know something about what the White Oak native - formerly Tara Leigh Patrick - thinks.
Speaking to the camera just before her family arrives in California for her wedding to musician Dave Navarro, Carmen says: "Dave's family's from Beverly Hills. And my family's more like The Beverly Hillbillies."
We can't say she was totally off-base - at least not the way MTV portrayed the family.
After a touching toast by Carmen, her brother Mark shouted, "Bring on the dancing girls!" to nervous laughter all around. Sorry, Mark, you missed the strippers at last week's combined bachelor/bachelorette party.
Also on 'Til Death Do Us Part, we found out LA's rich and famous don't even have to leave the house to complete pre-wedding paperwork: Something called the "Marriage License Express" will come to you.
Dave did, however, have to leave home for his colonic.
If only Wednesday's episode of Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica had been half as interesting. Instead, we saw the weary pop stars tour and do radio interviews to promote their solo albums, and turn "Take My Breath Away" - the song from Top Gun - into a duet.
"I'd rather just be in a mall and shop," Jessica sighs at one point, backstage before one of their performances.
So would we.
