READING - Mount Notre Dame High School art teacher Denise Scharf will display her work at the 17th annual Minumental Exhibition at the Art Academy in Eden Park, next to the Cincinnati Art Museum, 951 Eden Park Drive.

The show, which runs Friday through March 18, features faculty, student and alumni work for sale.

Meanwhile, about 160 juniors and seniors donated blood last week for the annual drive sponsored by the senior class in conjunction with the Hoxworth Blood Center.

Morrow Early Childhood Center accepting preschool registration

MORROW - The Morrow Early Childhood Center, 527 W. Pike, is accepting registrations through March for its preschool and kindergarten readiness classes for the 2004-05 school year.

Morning classes for children ages 3-5 meet twice a week. Tuition is $80 per month. To register, call 899-9888.

Beautiful Savior Lutheran School plans open house for Saturday

COLERAIN TWP. - Beautiful Savior Lutheran School will host an open house 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the school, 11981 Pippin Road. The school offers instruction in grades preschool-8.

Central Montessori Academy to hold annual raffle, silent auction

SPRINGFIELD TWP. - Central Montessori Academy will hold its Seventh Annual Winter Raffle and Silent Auction beginning 7 p.m. Saturday at Maple Knoll Center, 11199 Springfield Pike.

Tickets are $35 or $65 per couple.

St. Peter Claver student art to be featured in Final Friday

OVER-THE-RHINE - Artwork from students attending St. Peter Claver Latin School for Boys will be auctioned off as part of Final Friday Gallery Walk on Friday. Paintings created by students in grades K-2 will be exhibited at the headquarters of U.S. Digital Partners, 1315 Main St. Proceeds will help fund some of the school's immediate needs.

The public can view the art 7-9 p.m.

St. Peter Claver, which has 25 students, is in its third year of operation, at 121 E. 13th St.

Mother of Mercy High School students present 'Blithe Spirit'

WESTWOOD - Noel Coward's play Blithe Spirit will be presented Friday through Sunday at Mother of Mercy High School's Sister Mary Carlos Theatre, 3036 Werk Road.

Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. Information: 661-2740.

St. Ursula Villa honors teacher, parents for volunteer efforts

MOUNT LOOKOUT - Three volunteers from St. Ursula Villa were honored recently for National Philanthropy Day:

• Parent Debbie Albert, coordinator of the Everybody Counts Program.

• Parent Sue DuBrul, Villa Parents Organization, who oversees many events, including May Party.

• Teacher Jill Moormann, who volunteers extra hours at school and at Knox Presbyterian Church.
