MINNEAPOLIS - Tony Stockman had 21 points and four steals to lead Ohio State past Minnesota 70-59 Wednesday.
J.J. Sullinger added 15 points and Brandon Fuss-Cheatham scored 12 for the Buckeyes (13-13, 5-8 Big Ten), who fell behind early before bouncing back against the cold-shooting Gophers (2-12, 10-16).
Minnesota led by as many as 12 points midway through the first half, but the Buckeyes came back to cut the lead to 30-29 at the break on Stockman's steal and basket in the final 10 seconds.
Ohio State took its first lead on its first possession of the second half when Fuss-Cheatham converted on a driving layup, and the Buckeyes cruised from there.
