A weekly look at Cincinnati's two minor league hockey teams.

Cincinnati Cyclones

Last week: Split a two-game set with the Trenton Titans at U.S. Bank Arena, losing 3-1 Friday and winning a 3-2 shootout victory Saturday.

Where they stand: 22-36-3, tied for eighth in the nine-team ECHL's Eastern Conference's Northern Division.

Next: At Anchorage to play the Alaska Aces Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. All three games on www.sportsjuice.com, beginning at 10:50 p.m.

Who's hot: Mike Henderson, reacquired from Greenville for Mark Concannon, scored in both games last weekend. He played in 91 games for the 'Clones during the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.

Nuts & bolts: Enforcer Jeff Worlton earned his first point of the season Saturday with an assist on Josh Harrold's goal.

Tickets/promotions: Wedding of two fans and appearance by WWE's Batista on March 19. Bengals quarterback Jon Kitna will speak to fans as a part of Faith Night on March 20.

Cincinnati Mighty Ducks

Last week: 1-2-0-0 - lost vs. Chicago 4-1; lost at Milwaukee 7-2; beat Cleveland 4-1.

Where they stand: 23-30-8-1, tied for fifth in seven-team AHL West Division.

Next: 9:05 p.m. Wednesday and Friday at Utah (21-34-4-5); 7:30  p.m. Saturday at Grand Rapids (39-17-8-0). All three games broadcast on WCKY-AM (1360).

Who's hot: D Mark Popovic has a three-game point streak.

Nuts & bolts: Cincinnati begins the week tied with San Antonio for the fifth and final postseason berth in the West Division. ... D Chris Armstrong is tied for eighth among AHL defensemen in scoring with 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists). ... LW Chris Kunitz is tied for fifth among AHL rookies in goals (16). ... G Ilya Bryzgalov tied Tom Askey's franchise record for most wins in a season with his 21st victory Sunday at Cleveland.
