Fan's guide to the C-USA tournament



When: March 10-13, 2004

Where: U.S. Bank Arena, downtown Cincinnati

Tournament schedule (all times EST):

Session 1: Wednesday, March 10 - (5) Charlotte vs. (12) Tulane (ESPN 2), 1:00p.m. and (8) Marquette vs. (9) TCU (ESPN 2), 3:30p.m.

Session 2: Wednesday, March 10 - (6) Louisville vs. (11) East Carolina (ESPN Plus), 7:00p.m. and (7) Saint Louis vs. (10) Southern Miss (ESPN Plus), 9:30p.m.

Session 3: Thursday, March 11 - CHA/TUL vs. (4) UAB (ESPN Plus), 1:00p.m. and MAR/TCU vs. (1) DePaul (ESPN Plus), 3:30p.m.

Session 4: Thursday, March 11 - LOU/ECU vs. (3) Cincinnati (ESPN Plus), 7:00p and SLU/USM vs. (2) Memphis (ESPN Plus), 9:30p

Session 5: Friday, March 12 - Semifinals, 4:30 p.m. (ESPN) & 7:00 p.m. (ESPN Plus)

Session 6: Saturday, March 13 - Finals (CBS), 11:41 a.m.

Single session tickets: For Sessions 1-4, $30 per session. Sessions 5-6, $35 per session.

Available at U.S. Bank Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Charge by phone at 513-562-4949 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.

All-session tickets: $160 for all four days.

Visit the UC ticket office, call 513-556-CATS or order online at www.ucbearcats.com to buy tickets.

Directions (from U.S. Bank Arena web site)

From I-75 South: Second Street exit. Stay in the right lane and follow Second Street until it ends at Pete Rose Way, right in front of U.S. Bank Arena. OR Take the Freeman Avenue exit. Freeman Avenue ends at Mehring Way. Go left on Mehring Way. U.S. Bank Arena, Cinergy Parking and the East Garage are on the left, after passing Paul Brown Stadium and Cinergy Field.

From I-71 South: Gilbert Avenue exit. Turn right at light onto E Court Street. Turn left onto Reedy Street, the first street on left. Turn left at light onto Eggleston Avenue. Follow Eggleston until it ends at Pete Rose Way, turn right at light. Follow Pete Rose Way and U.S. Bank Arena will be on your left.

From I-71/75 North: Take the Second Street exit. Stay in the right lane and follow Second Street until it ends at Pete Rose Way, right in front of U.S. Bank Arena.

From I-471 North: Stay in right lane across bridge. Follow North I-75/West US 50 exit. Stay right and exit on 3rd Street. Turn left at first light onto Broadway. U.S. Bank Arena is at the corner of Broadway and Pete Rose Way.

Parking: Very limited during the day, so come early, officials say.

$6 at East Garage (attached to U.S. Bank Arena), Great American Ball Park lot and Lot D (located between Paul Brown Stadium and Great American Ball Park); Parking also available at the Western-Southern garages on Third St.
