• Marques Green, G, St. Bonaventure: 10 points, eight assists and six steals.

• Rashaun Freeman, C, Massachusetts: 18 points, 12 rebounds.

Upset of the day

Duquesne rallied from a nine-point second-half deficit to beat UMass for its first Atlantic 10 tourney win since 1995. The game had 19 lead changes and a combined 46.5 percent shooting by both teams.

Quote of the day

"I mean, if you're not aware of an opportunity there, then there's something wrong. They made history and are continuing to make history so for us to have a shot at them is what every other team would like to have." - XU guard Lionel Chalmers on facing No. 1 St. Joseph's today at 12 p.m.

Noteworthy

The UD Arena crowd gave St. Bonaventure guard Marques Green a standing ovation when he left his final game against Xavier with less than a minute to play Wednesday afternoon. Green came into his final game averaging 19.8 points, 5.0 assists and an NCAA-best 3.9 steals.
