A chilly 'Winter'-lude: Cincinnati Boychoir presents the world premiere of "Antarctica," a suite by Nashville composer Carlton Young, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at St. Anne Episcopal Church, West Chester Township. Text for the new work has words by explorer Ernest Shackleton. The "Winter Interlude" concert includes Boychoir favorites and a silent auction. Tickets: $8; $5 seniors and students ages 6 to 18. 396-7664.

Catacoustic gets anthologized: The Glendale-based Catacoustic Consort, led by Annalisa Pappano, has another project with the recording label, Naxos. The group has been asked to record three pieces for a new edition of the Norton Anthology of Music - a bible for music schools.

Next month, Catacoustic will record its first album, of Italian laments, as part of winning first prize in a contest sponsored by Naxos and Early Music America.
