Folkies: Eddie From Ohio rolls in with its strange and wonderful mix of folk, jazz, ska and tons of four-part harmonies, all fronted by Julie Murphy Wells, a singer with an amazing range of styles.

Dazzlin' divas: The Greenwich looks over its musical shoulder with a new "Divas of Legend" series. Alternative sounds: Cincinnati Pride and St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church have an intimate date with Chris Williamson, one of the true pioneers in women's music. Mountain tour: Tickets for the "Great High Mountain Tour" playing U.S. Bank Arena May 7 go on sale at 10 a.m. today. Among the artists: Alison Krauss & Union Station, Ralph Stanley, the Cox Family, Reeltime Travelers and others. They're $40 and $50 at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 562-4949, online at www.ticketmaster.com and at the U.S. Bank Arena box office.

Lynyrd Skynyrd: Tickets for the band's May 28 date at Columbus' Germain Amphitheater go on sale at 10 a.m. today. $35, $27.50 and $12.50, same locations as above (except U.S. Bank Arena).

Blink-182: Tickets for the group's May 20 date at Riverbend Music Center go on sale at 3 p.m. today, same locations as above. $35.

Dashboard Confessional: Tickets for the emo heroes' May 19 date at Riverbend go on sale noon Saturday. $25.

Planning Ahead

24 hours out: Avant Garage has a Grand Re-Opening/Art Closing with artwork by Randy Cheek of Ass Ponys, Beth Holzer of Lovely Crash and Little Billy Catfish. 48 hours out: Wear something green, grab a piece of the curb and wave to all the Irish folk passing by when the 38th annual St. Patrick's Parade takes off.
