Police search for man after abduction try
FOREST PARK - City police are looking for a man who they say tried to abduct an 18-year-old Winton Woods High School senior walking to school Friday morning.
The incident happened at West Kemper Road and Islandale Drive at 6:50 a.m. The female student broke away from the man, who told her he was a police officer, and ran to the high school.
The suspect is described as 30 to 40 years old, 6-foot-1 and 160-170 pounds. He has dark skin and a "wiry" beard with acne scares on his face. Anyone with information is asked to call Forest Park police at 595-5220.
Montgomery road U.S. Bank robbed
SYCAMORE TWP. - Hamilton County sheriff's deputies Friday were looking for a middle-aged man in the mid-morning robbery of U.S. Bank, 7763 Montgomery Road.
Authorities said a teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash after the suspect passed a note. .
The man - described as white, in his 50s and wearing a gray, hooded sweat shirt and khaki pants - fled north on foot. No weapon was shown and no one was injured during the robbery, sheriff's officials said.

Man guilty in death of estranged wife
A Dearborn County jury found Roger Holbrook guilty Thursday of the Nov. 5, 2002, murder of his estranged wife, Barbara.
Holbrook had been on the run. He was arrested late last year after being featured on an episode of America's Most Wanted television program and identified by a viewer in Byrdstown, Tenn. Holbrook had dyed his hair and was using a false name.
The jury convicted him of first-degree murder after an eight-day trial. Holbrook will be sentenced April 1. Barbara Holbrook, a horse trainer, was shot eight times by her husband, who had a restraining order against him.
Sale of ecstasy brings year in jail
A Florence man was sentenced Thursday to a year in jail in Ohio for selling ecstasy.
Jason King, 23, sold drugs to an undercover officer while working at Portion Pac Inc. in Mason. He had previously pleaded guilty in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
King's employer contacted the Warren-Clinton Drug and Strategic Operations Task Force, which launched an investigation.
King agreed to sell ecstasy to an undercover officer who was posing as a Portion Pac employee, said Warran County Prosecuting Attorney Rachel Hutzel.
Twice, King sold 10 tablets to an undercover investigator. Under Ohio law, 10 tablets is considered a bulk amount and is subject to a mandatory prison sentence.
Lynch deal could erase indictment
Damon Lynch IV, the 19-year-old son of activist Rev. Damon Lynch III, struck a deal on Thursday that could erase an indictment against him on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools.
Lynch entered into a deal in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court that will get his case into a diversion program. If Lynch successfully completes the program, the indictment will be eliminated.
Lynch and two others were arrested by police on Dec. 19 in Hyde Park on suspicion of breaking into vehicles and stealing items.
Kenny Harvey, 19, of Fay Apartments, and Eddie Watson, 20, of Westwood, both pleaded guilty to theft charges Thursday. They will be sentenced on March 31.
Students with guns at school suspended
Two students in the Tristate have been suspended and face criminal charges after bringing loaded guns to school on Friday.
A female student at Bloom Junior High School in the West End and a 16-year-old male at the Hughes Center in Clifton could also face expulsion for having loaded weapons on school grounds, according to Cincinnati police.
The female student allegedly had a .380 semiautomatic handgun and threatened to shoot fellow students. The boy allegedly had a .38 Special.
