CSO 2004-2005 season
Paavo Jarvi has recorded a number of pieces by Northern European composers. Here's a sampling:

• Sibelius' Kullervo, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, with Randi Stene, mezzo-soprano, baritone Peter Mattei and the National Male Choir of Estonia (Virgin Classics).

• Stenhammar's Symphony No. 2 (and other works) with Anne Sofie von Otter, mezzo-soprano, and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic (Virgin Classics).

• Sibelius Cantatas (Grammy winning), with the Estonian National Male Choir, Ellerhein Girls' Choir and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (Virgin Classics).

Sibelius Symphony No. 2 and Tubin Symphony No. 5, with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (Telarc).

• Arvo Part Summa, with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (Virgin Classics).

• Exodus. Includes the Violin Concerto by Erkki-Sven Tuur, with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Isabelle van Keulen, violin (ECM).
