Suspect arrested in fatal shooting

A suspect in the Feb. 4 shooting death of 48-year-old Shelly Hogan in Millvale was arrested Saturday in a Florence, Ky., motel room.

Javon Jermone Brown, 23, of Cumminsville, who was wanted on charges of murder and felonious assault, was arrested about 1:20 p.m. at a motel on Dream Street and U.S. 42, Cincinnati police said.

Randy Campbell, 21, of Norwood, and Keyana Berry, 19, of North Fairmount, were also arrested in the motel room. They were charged with felony hindering prosecution and apprehension.

2 men sought in holdup, shooting

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP - Police are looking for two men who reportedly held up three people with a silvery handgun and shot one of them at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday outside the Extra Innings Bar and Grill, 8325 Colerain Ave.

One of the suspects fired the gun several times while fleeing, hitting Trinian Howard, 21, of Lincoln Heights, in the left hand.

Police are looking for a black man in his 20s, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall, 195 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, a goatee and sideburns. He was wearing brown clothing and a stocking cap with a "B" on the front.

The second suspect is a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 8, with brown eyes, black hair in cornrows and a goatee. He was wearing a black jacket.
